Local Pages & Duplicate Content
- SEO |
My website has the following site structure:
Homepage (site.com) - Targeting Brand Name
Photography Page (site.com/photography/ - Targeting 'Wedding Photography'
Location Page (site.com/photography/london) - Targeting 'London Wedding Photography'
Location Explainer Page (site.com/photography/london/our-approach) - Not really targeting anything
I basically treat each location as an individual micro site with pages that you might find on a website within that category. For example london wedding photography prices (site.com/photography/london/prices). While this content is very similar to say prices page in Manchester, its still unique and different.
My problem comes when there is specific page that is not so unique, for example Faq's. The faqs are the same for all locations so the content is really the same. However, I cant just create a page on the website called FAQs - site.com/faqs - because I don't want the users to exit the location micro site as it might cause confusion.
What is the best way to handle these similar pages? No Index, Follow?
