How long does Google SandBox Last? And how do I know if my domain is out of it? And also, if I buy a expired domain, does it escape the whole Sandbox period?

The sandbox is a myth and does not exist

It was invented by useless SEO's to explain why they could not rank their crap.

So my site is basically not ranking in the top 100s because of it being poor optimized?

No way of knowing without knowing the site and its competition.

No. Could be there are 100 sites doing better.

Silly.....after the first 20, the next are useless. You could rank 75 and be no better off.

People think sandbox because they think their site is the $#!T$ and no site should beat it.

Then when they rank 99th, they think sandbox.....cuz it must be so, right?
So what does that mean for site 125...or 200...man they must be in a bigger sandbox than you!

How 'bout that site that ranks 1 002 345 428 ? Man google is just punishing them!

Some guy wins the boston marathon. Then 10th place complains race officials held him down.
        Sound silly?

So your saying , there is no period where the site needs to settle to gain ranking? It all depends on your content etc etc.

I have no idea what anyone else is trying to say but yes there is something you COULD call a sandbox. Google DID confirm it and I've seen no signs that it has changed.

Time in the index is a factor but its much shorter than people thought (more like 60-120 days). Additionally it doesn't mean you can't rank. It just means its more difficult to.

if I buy a expired domain, does it escape the whole Sandbox period?
Only if its still indexed at Google. If the domain has been expired more than a couple months it will fall out the index.

I guess the best way to find out is to do an audit and see where you stand.
