I would suggest spending at least 50% of your time on promoting your content initially - perhaps even more.

"Build it and they will come" is a nice idea - but it doesn't work online any more.

No one can give you an exact answer to this question since ranking will change from niche to niche and backlinks you built.

So best is to craft quality article and then build quality links and just wait for it.

Regarding link building, I haven't been doing any link building as I'm using the Income School method of no linking.

As regards backlinking, post the URLs for your articles on the social media platforms. Then go out and look for other blogs in your niche and leave quality comments on them. Only leave comments on sites where you can also leave your own web address. That can be to your home page or to articles you want to promote.

You could also write articles for some of the article directories like EzineArticles and link back to your home page or an article.

There are other ways of backlinking too.

Yes, it takes time but backlinks are still one of the main things Google uses in ranking your pages.

I don't recommend using PBNs to get backlinks. Google frowns on this tactic. It's better to stay as white-hat as possible.

I've also had articles written around low-competition keywords that just don't rank. It's part of the business. No one knows how Google's ranking algorithm works and it's constantly changing. Trying to game it never works out in the long run.

It's hard to tell how much time can Google take to rank your articles, as you're having a new website, it will probably gonna take more time because of low DA/PA, try to generate quality backlinks for your website, It will gonna help you to increase Domain authority.

Spend more time towards marketing of your website, without proper marketing, you never gonna get traffic as well as raking for your website.

You can also try Facebook ads, it will help you to reach more audience which are not in your range right now, only if you're willing to spend some bucks for it.

Ours is a new one. Our site was last crawled on 29th Jan and not being crawled so far.
We manually crawled it on 28th.

After content creation, most of the time spend upon content promotion. It is really difficult to get good ranks on Google in a little time.

If you are doing off page work targeting keywords using anchor then you will get ranks easily, otherwise your website DA, PA will improve. So try to build backlinks using anchor tag. Hope it helps.

I think you should first look at your website and what it intends to. what is the consumer's behavior when they visit your website, what you articles are intended to and If you are doing just for selling your products, you may never be successful, I suggest you to give valuable advice to the consumers about the benefits of your product and you should never use a sales pitch which may restrain the user from buying your product.
As long as link building is concerned go out for good links which make give your brand exposure in the industry you are playing.

I've always gone for keywords that have less than 100 searches as they are generally very low competition. Because there isn't much content produced on these keywords, I can generally rank within 30-60 days.
You don't have to swim with the whales in High competition niches, swim with the tiddlers and then do a good job once visitors are on your site.
I then use internal linking with LSI keywords to my more higher volume keyword money pages.
This also has the advantage of lowering your bounce rate as visitors generally click through 2-3 pages.

You should look out for what keywords you are ranking and what is the competition in them. You should look out at the off page techniques which help you bring more traffic.

I would say first to improve your website DA that is domain authority. IF your DA is good then you can get a good leverage in getting your articles ranked. Also you should focus on these website ranking factors as well

It varies from niche to niche. Yup, if doing all these is not enough. Then it might be a competitive niche. Only publishing article isn't going to work here, you have to do more to get more.

More importantly in your Backlink & content strategy. Focus on EAT factor if you are into affiliate. I tried something similar with home appliances amazon affiliate site. That too have same scenario as yours.

Things you can do here:
# Make sure your are articles are full of information follows EAT (Exact, authority and trust) includes your main keywords and their variations. Improve you content, do more interlinking to related content in natural way.

# Get backlinks from some relevant blogs / site who are working other products similar to yours. (If possible) It can be 15-20 DA sites.

# You can try 301 redirect as well. (on your own) If you gets bunch of expired domain (not easy to find) which can still pass link juice use them as redirect or PBN.

After doing all these just wait for 15-30 days. Hopefully you will see a climb in traffic.

It won't be easy to rank a new establish website. You have to ensure that you use relevant and unique keywords. Also, it doesn't matter how long the content is as it is more important to produce quality content. You can do link building if you have time as it also contributes to the ranking.

For me it's between 2 - 3 months to rank a new website.

I think if you work hard on site and spend more times on your site with passion you will get a better response.
