Will noodp,noydir in Membership Forum meta tags protect against duplicate content?

I need to understand if we are doing duplicate content or not.

We first posted a blog on our website.

Then we posted in a membership forum. In view source, it has:
<meta name="robots" content="noodp,noydir" />
So it doesn't have nofollow.

So will the post in the membership forum be considered duplicate content? I originally thought not as I thought it was only available to members, but I see now that you can view it even if not a member.

Please advise if this would be duplicate content or not.

Those meta tags are redundant and do nothing now.

No they wont be considered as Duplicate, but I do not understand why are you doing that yourself?

  I have VA staff to do it as I don't post myself, if that's what you are asking. This is a special membership, not just any membership and not mine, so it's not something that Hootsuite or those types of software can do.
  
  Thank you for your answer as I wasn't positive. Can you explain more about why Google won't consider the blog and the membership post won't be considered duplicate content?
