Multiple Blogs within Micro Niches = Multiple Streams of Income

Does anyone do this?

Create multiple blogs that has different micro niches (basically a long tailed KW as their main Keyword) - set ads up as well as affiliate links on their blog pages.

Any advice if you have this as your model?

    I really depends on the niche. Some aren't worth going after for their micro niches, some are.

    I could see setting up different blogs for various sports - soccer, baseball, basketball, etc. instead of a general one for sports. I'm not sure I would see the number of searches to justify setting up a blog for shortstops, another for second basemen, one for pitchers, one for catchers.

    It depends on the niche. I know a couple of niche in which micro niche blogs can work well unfortunately I can't say about the others.

    Micro niches often get low traffic but they can make more conversion as the only targeted audience will get to you. You should choose your keyword quite specifically. It is better if you limit it to a specific area. Make sure search volume must be more than 1000, and competition should either be medium or low as to get an obvious opportunity.

    Use the keyword in your domain name, homepage, and add the article (more than 1000 words) with the same keyword.

    If you add more content your odds to get traffic will more be in your favor.
