It depends on each website you want to have a guest post on.
Usually, it's at least 500 words, but these articles are shit. Nowadays most of the guest posts are 800-1000 words long.

If you want an amazing backlink and to be featured on the best websites, then create 3000 guides for guest posting. It will pay off big time!

There is no specific word limit on blog comment, but it should be to the point or else posting such a long blog won't make a point.

The content should lengthy which would let your point of view to be properly showcased to the user, writing off-topic won't be a good thing as it won't get a thought of what your are trying to say, stick to the defined topic.

Yes every guest posting sites are having some writing guidelines depending upon their own criteria rules. Some of the guest bloggers will charge to add the content based on the number of words in the content.

The main guideline could be the content should not publish anywhere before the content is publish in their guest blog and it should be more unique.

I have never worried about word count. The number of words in an article is the amount it takes to completely convey your point. Some subjects only require a couple hundred words; others require several thousand.

The only question you need to ask yourself is if the piece completely covers the subject and if it is at least as good and preferably better than anything else on the web covering the subject matter.

Big companies like Hubspot and Moz have done studies on this, and 80% of first-page results have over 1500 words.

After about 10,000 words, there's really no beneficial impact in rankings. The minimum recommended length for guest posts is 1500 words, and typically they don't need to be longer than 3000 words unless you're creating a comprehensive guide or something else that requires a longer length.

    Hi there,

Obviously, making content longer doesn't automatically improve its quality. However, a number of studies have confirmed the link between longer content and higher search engine rankings. content with 3,000 - 10,000 words received the most shares on social media. it seems likely that longer-form content is the way to go if you want to improve search engine rankings, backlinks, and social shares. Above 1,000 words seems to be the minimum amount you should aim for. But if you can maintain content quality, 2,000 - 2,500 words may give you optimal results.
