Point Of Confusion: Disparity Between Search Volume and
- SEO |
For the query "Best X Type of product": Ubersuggest tells me that this keyword has a total search volume of 260.
My competitor ranks at #7 for that keyword, and gets 5 visits per month.
Ubersuggest also tells me that this competitor gets about 3,800 visits per month from Google to that URL.
I checked the page myself, thinking "Well maybe it's optimized for a bunch of other keywords". It's not. It's a very unimpressive Amazon affiliate type of post.
What's the deal? What am I missing?
The competitor has to be targeting the keyword I mentioned, but Ubersuggest tells me they are only getting 5 clicks per month based on it.
If that's true, how are they getting 3,800 per month in total. That seems like a HUGE disparity.
Is this type of disparity common?
