Hi,

I'm working on optimizing a real estate agency website named K N P Real Estate (name changed due to NDA with the client, this is a dummy name). I have so far implemented on-page, local schema, created a few backlinks, created citations, GMB profile, and other social media profiles completely optimized. I also ran a PR on the website of a well-known news paper.

Currently, when we search for the phrase KNP real estate, or KNP real estate with location the website comes on the top of the first page. But when I search for the phrase KNP, the website sometimes appears on the first page, and sometimes it disappears.

Any suggestion on how to fix this issue will be very much appreciated. Kindly let me know what I should do additionally to help the website continuously rank on the first page when searching for the phrase KNP. The website is 4 months old.

As you using the SEO Quake? Actually, when you search by using these tools you have to fix the location as you search for keywords for the USA or other countries. You have to selected from left side corner menu fix the location which you want results when you search in Google. Sometimes you do not select and fix this. That is why your keyword is not shown in the right place you do not select for preferred location. To maintain the keyword on the first page you have to build high-quality DA follow backlinks, do proper on-page, check the speed of the website and also focus on quality content. Sure these thing help you to maintain your ranking or ranked well in Google.

Get backlinks with KNP as anchor text. Create a page that you optimize for KNP alone. Mix KNP and KNP Real estate on whatever page you're trying to rank for KNP alon, then get KNP anchor text backlinks to it.

Why do you want it to be KNP alone? Do prospects use KNP when they mean KNP Real Estate?

To add to what DABK wrote, you should also create internal links from your own website pages to the page you optimize for KNP with KNP as the anchor text.

I, too, wonder how many people could possibly be searching for "KNP" with no other words.

Additionally, I have to wonder what the benefit is of showing up prominently for people already searching for your brand (other than those searching for a phone number). I would hope that gaining new traffic from people who have never heard of your company would be a higher priority.
