Webmaster Tools not reflecting actual ranking

Hey guys. In the midst of some heavy link building and my using a program called backlink booster, which got rave reviews from the hardcore backlinkers here on this forum, my money making rankings have all dropped down to the no money positions. I have givin in to thinking that they will stay down for awhile and after my site ages a little bit they will come back. However, I logged into my webmaster tools to see if maybe there was something there would explain why my rankings continue to drop even though my backlinks are going up. The position of my serp result in webmaster tools was number 1, where it was and where it should be compared to my competition for the keyword.

The only thing that I can think is that my bounce rate and average time on site for that particular keyword were high and respectively low, and that is the reason my site dropped down in the rankings.

Anyway, why would webmaster tools reflect a different ranking than the actual ranking?

I don't even know why it does this, but I wonder the same thing.

Sometimes I go to one of my sites and see that its ranked for several keywords, but when I click on the keyword to see live data, I don't even see my website there in the top 10! Weird..
