Hi.

I came across a forum that is pro-fire arms. Is this a bad neighbourhood for back linking in the eyes of google?

Thanks.

Jim.

I think by "bad neighbourhood" they don't mean the site's subject. They mean whether the site is a known spam site or splog, etc.

      That site is fine.
To some people a site ANTI- firearms is a bad neighborhood

But as the post above me said, bad neighborhoods are ones with spam and tons of malicious stuff on it.

I would think the site would be fine. My understanding of a bad neighborhood is more along the lines of hackers, spammers, black hatters, etc.

That site should be fine. Like what goatboy said... Black Hat, Spammers, and hacker sites are usually what you should stay away from.

But google sees it as you don't really have control over who links to you. So just don't add a reciprocal link and you'll be even safer.
