    Well a PR7 would def help your site PR, but keep in mind, that lower PR sites can still outrank higher PR sites in the SERP's. It's a combo of authority and relevance that will ultimately get you high in the serp's

      You are right scott, If the link is your niche related, Which is really good for you site PR and SERP. But still having that link alone won't help you, if your competitors are working with link building lol

    One link, even a PR7, won't do that much for your site. Remember, the link juice from that page will be divided between all of the outlinks on that page.

    Obviously it would be good for you to place your link on the page, but don't expect miracles from it. So place your link there, and then go find a dozen or twenty or a hundred or more like it. By the time you get to a hundred, you should see some very positive results. Maybe even by the time you get to twenty.

    Why would anyone turn down a high pr backlink?

    I am not sure what the purpose of the question is. If you have the opportunity to post on a PR 7 site, why wouldn't you just take it? If it is because you would be paying to do so, then don't. Just do a bit of looking about and you will find high PR sites to post to all day long...

    I've looked around and can't find ANYWHERE to post on such a high PR sites.

    I asked the question because I wasn't sure whether putting all my efforts into finding just one or two high PR sites would be worth it. Because so far, my link building strategies haven't been doing crap for me. {But I already posted about that.}

    Blog comment lists have failed me because virtually always, they are either nofollow, don't even permit links, or, they display the comments on a separate page that is PR 0 regardless of the PR of the outside page.
