  • Make sure you don't leave a big footprint in Google by using the same template over and over again. It could lead to all of your sites being de-indexed if you do something wrong on one of them...

    • Seems like if you've got AdSense on all your sites you couldn't have a much bigger footprint with Google.

      Peace.

    • I really dont understand why people are keep on saying that using the same template will cause them problem. If this is true, there will be a lot of template store going to close up soon.

Dont keep that in mind if you found they doesnt make sense, stick to your gun!

    • What if you use their WP default theme?
  • I have read and use it ... my first attempt at Adsense.

End result my Adsense sites are making me some nice PASSIVE money every day ... planning to build a ton of them.

John is a good guy, I would have no hesitation in recommending his course

  • Hi bgeriani, there's quite a bit of unsubstantiated claims and misinformation in this thread.

I'd be glad to help you with the best available tools and support for running your micro niche adsense sites. Feel free to send me a PM or email with your questions.

Also, a word of advice in weeding through information here. Check the source.

When you see posts that have a one line blanket assumption without supporting evidence, and usually coming from a source with very low post counts and zero Thanks, your shields should probably be fully engaged ;-)
  • Even with the 100$/day supposed review, you can still pass muster if you build out your sites (yes, even using the old default template) by giving the user a postive web experience...and obviously this means building out the site to be one that appears to be an authority site.

Most of my sites, built around this theme, are now in the 50-100 page range, include ebay ads, discussion forums, videos, tutorials, etc.

    Remember: positive user experience.

    • I've hit $100 days on numerous occasions and have a pretty significant number of sites indexed on page 1 for their main keyword phrase. They all use my templates.

I agree with Kael's post above. You need to deliver honest, truthful and helpful content for the given search and you will stay clear of any trouble, regardless of what legitimate white hat infrastructure you are utilizing.

Do the right thing and you will be rewarded. Go rogue and its only a matter of time before it catches up to you.

As long as you keep things white hat, the template can only help you. It can't hurt you unless its so painfully slow and bloated that Google gives you a speed penalty or your users bolt waiting for it to load.
  • Thanks for clearing that up clickbump...

If i had 50 quality sites all using clickbumps themes, (xfactor theme) and google decides to do a check up, just because i have 50 sites that look the same doesnt give google any reason to ban. I can choose whatever template i want to use and use it as much as i like. Correct? thats all i am concerned about as my sites all follow Google TOS..

    • Hi Suka, its logical to me that Google is more likely to ban behavior than design. As long as you stay within TOS in terms of ad placement, and you are providing a solid answer to the user's search query, you'll be fine.

But I would not advise building your only income stream around adsense. In my own business, I've got multiple streams of income. From adsense monetized niche sites to clickbank review sites to CPA sites, to sites that promote my own products.

Google is a fickle dance partner, and in particular, the adsense program is not one that I'd ever solely rely on for consistent income. I've said this many times, but you should only consider Adsense as a supplemental income source at best.

So you need a system that allows you to plug into any monetization method you choose. Whether you use my system or another, the infrastructure needs to be flexible enough to allow you to diversify the means of site monetization.

That's why, even though when I launched clickbump engine it was tuned solely for xfactor style sites and only contained xfactor styled themes, I've evolved it to include a variety of looks and site designs. So you can produce product review sites, authority sites, sniper sites, xfactor sites, halloween custome sites, etc.

  • Most import thing about xfactor is John lays an excellent foundation and you can make money. Rather than going out and trying to make 25 or 100 sites, make 5 really good sites. Also don't use the exact theme, make a few tweaks of your own and mix in your own twists to make it unique.
  • One must ask if you provide quality rich content on your niche topic why would google ever think of deindexing you ?

You are providing a quality source of income for them and thats what Adsense is all about QUALITY CONTENT........

From the examples i ever seen of sites that have been deindexed in my opinion the content was very spammy, worthless or purley affiliate content.......

Offering nothing of note to the reader....

And we must remember if we get manual reviews by google they will have some poor guy sitting in the corner reading less than good content .......how long before he hits the big button.....

    Just my opinion......

    • Question for Clickbump or anyone else that using these templates. On the subject of making unique and quality content (to satisfy the users experience as well as google) can you also extensively and easily customize the look and layout of these "clickbump themes"?

Besides providing quality content I also want to be on the safe side of having all my clickbump themes look different and no common footprint.

      Anyone?

  • Am I wrong in thinking that it ultimately comes down to click quality?

Assuming your site looks, feels and reads proffessional and generates good leads, then why would Google mind if you had a thousand of them?

I can totally understand on the other hand if you are making sites that look appalling only to 'force' the user to click away.

I don't really agree with the idea of making poor content, ugly sites to increase earnings. I think visitors will click just as much on a good looking site as long as it has a layout that encourages that.

The big block beneath the title is not the only choice. I've been getting good CTR's with different setups.
