Have you guys seen the same problem

I have been using market samurai to follow the rankings of my site. But something is of. For one of my keywords, it shows that the page is not in the top 1000 of googles search for the term, but when i perform a manual term search in google i find the page at the third page.. So that means that market samurai cannot be trusted..

    Are you searching with your own google account or doing an anonymous search? That can vary your results as google will show a site you go to often closer to the front of results. Although page 3 isn't that close.

    Also make sure that you're not getting a personalized search result. Google does check your domain whois. I've found that my sites rank higher in the personalized results sometimes. Another reason might be because that software might be getting results from a different a Google data center

    Yeah, I would guess that you must be logged into your account when you are performing this search. That has definitely fooled me before too.

    But claycath brings up a good point. I've never seen the personalized search place a result on the third page, usually it's right in the first couple of results. Not sure exactly how it works.

    I have seen this before, every month when google evaluates your site (the google dance) it can play funny games with your KW software.

    It only generally lasts 2 or 3 days so check then.
