Hey Warriors,

Is market samurai's rank checker 100% accurate?

Whenever I search for keywords, they are never in the SERP that the rank checker says it is.

Anyone know?

    I won't answer the question direction (I could just say yes, but you might not believe me because of the preconception you have), but I will give you the information to answer your own question.

    MS just pulls search engine data. So for Google, it just pulls the ranking for a google search it does (broad, phrase etc).

    So question 1 for you is the obvious, are you comparing broad to broad and phrase to phrase?

    Question 2 is really just a statement. Let me reword your question for you - the google search done by market samurai using a range of proxies (different IP's) shows a different ranking to my local search. Think about that statement and you will have your answer.

    My answer to your question is NO and they know it because everytime I open my MS i found an update and the rank checker is always in the update . So they are trying to fix it and I have no doubts they will do it. That is the way they did it with the keyword research and right now IMHO it is the best out there.
    To support my answer, I always doble check with other tools and it is never the same, I even check manually(clear cookies, etc) and it is never the same...

      I totally agree that Market Samurai's rank tracking tool is not working properly. I've done manual checks for keywords that I'm trying to rank for and they're way off. I hope they fix it soon.

        Would have to agree the rank checker is flaky, one of the main reasons why I bought the software. It will show i'm not ranking for a keyword, yet, I'm on the 1st or 2nd page. Very frustrating. I may have thrown 97.00 away.

    Always check ranking in two to three tools for better judgement.

    Market samurai is always updating and yes all of their checks are 110% right always use it in the majestic search mode and you will always be on point with all your figures if you find that you are off just refresh it and go again but something is up with alot of the tools that are getting their results from Google just bear with it if you are having trouble but i find mine working fine.....

    No. Actually, different rank checker judge on the rank point with different angles and resources. It is hard to say which one is more accurate! Google is the big boss~
