I have been looking around the forum for a while now, and i have seen a few people that have had there Google AdWords accounts blocked! I have been reading the Google T&C ect and i still don't know that if i directly advertise my new site that i will be banned or not

I have received allot of free advertising credit and i want to use it but i am scared!!

Please anyone will i get banned? Should i just walk away and leave it? I don't know what to do!!

Any help will be thanked with kisses and everything x x

Kind regards

    Hi Dawn,

Why do you think you'll be banned? They have tutorials and training you can watch.

Better to be banned and have tried, than never tried at all.

I'm not sure on what basis you think you'll be banned though .

You may have read about a few people being banned but there are many millions who haven't.

What if they categorize my website as a get rich quick site? I state clearly it is not (and its not). Its simply refferal marketing. But Google seems to do pretty much what they want to do with no questions asked and no excuse given!!

      Thanks for the response.

You have a good point. I would stay a while and work on your organic search and try to get it ranked as high as possible. You might want to try facebook ads as well.

i have a bunch of adwords coupons that i am afraid to use too. i am just afraid i will do something wrong without knowing it. or they will just ban me for no particular reason. i figure the less i do to draw attention, the better off i am. so gar my .15 a day is safe!

Umm... If you get banned, then you get banned, so what?

Why wouldn't you try it instead of being 'scared'? Especially if you have free credits.

What's the worst that can happen? You get banned. You'll only pay for the visitors you already got and that will be the end of it.

    OR,

You could end up becoming the next King/Queen of PPC, making hundreds and thousands of dollars.

Too bad you'll never know since you were too afraid to try.

If you know exactly what your doing then why do you think you'll be banned? You said that you've been reading the Google Terms & Conditions , provided with all the tutorials and trainings, you can do it without getting banned!

Assuming you are referring to the links in your signature will, in my opinion, not get approved. I'd classify it as a get rich scheme. I mean, come on. $60 for doing nothing, no out of pocket expense. If it's too good to be true, it likely is. Don't try to use Adwords with this or yes, you'll likely get banned.

I know from experience that if they ban you account due to ' Landing Page and Site Policy violations', you can still contact the support and ask them to give you more information on why your account was disabled. even after the ban, you can re-edit your site to be less 'violating' and then contact the support again to review ur site. I have done it for a few sites i had and it does work.

in the worst case what you can do is open a new account (different e-mail address, different credit card and different domain IP) and open a new account to advertise. just make sure to make the propper changes so that u wont be banned again. :-)

I promote Amazon affiliate sites via AdWords and very rarely have problems.

Build a brandable site that is actually useful to the user and present it as an ecommerce site with lots of user interactivity and you should be well on your way.

Stay away from scraped/copied content and make sure you offer lots of value and very few affiliate links.

Search the forums for "Google hates you" for a nice write-up on how to make Goolge happy.

I have been banned from AW (for using a word Google in the ads, I guess), but nothing awful happens after this. AdWords was never any good on ROI, and there are a lot more better places to advertise any product than AW.
    Just try.
