Im wondering if its a good idea to purchase XXXXX keyword as my XXXXX.com domain. When you google the keyword the combined page ranks for the first page of google is 29, none of them have the keyword in their titles or domains. Google KWT says 6600 exact searches for the keyword.

Without knowing what you are targeting with the domain it isn't possible to give a comprehensive analysis, but the domain profile your are describing is a great find if it's a little marketing niche. 6600 exact searches isn't a lot, but it's more than enough to make some nice residual $$ every month on a saleable product.

Im targeting an amazon product, it just looks really scary going up against pr4 pr5 pr6 sites on the first page, it just doesnt seem like i can get up to the number 1 spot.

Don't be afraid. Unless they are are really powerful sites or other niche sites that have a lot of links to them... there is a chance with good SEO that you can take them out.

Even if you are #2 or #3... 6600 exact searches is a decent amount

        Good luck!

PageRank is only one of MANY factors in SERP. Having the exact match keyword as your domain is going to help a lot. Compound that with some solid SEO and backlink-building and you WILL be competitive there. Sounds like a great opportunity to me. Best of luck if you decide to jump in!

Dude, only you can answer that question.

Are you willing to put in the time, effort, and work to achieve your goals? If yes, then do it, if not then don't.

Anyway the top 3 sites are
    1.reviews.cnet.com pr6
    2.reviews.cnet.com pr5
