Hi Warriors,

I am wondering about the domain names I am registering. At the moment I only choose an exact match domain name to the keyword I am targeting but maybe as long as the keyword is in it..it will still be a good name to use...What are your thoughts on this?

Example: keyword= "buy real guns"

Is buyrealguns.com better than, say, howtobuyrealguns.com or buyrealgunstoday.com??????
#domains #keyword
  • Yes, the exact match domain is always better than a domain that just has the keyword in it somewhere, but that is still great to have than a domain with no keyword or just part of the keyword. Definitely try to get your keyword in there but stop words work fine.

    Hi,

the best is to go for 2-3 keywords max. The reason is that shorter URLs are more easy for people to remember and to type in. Also, they are more brandable.
So yes, buyrealguns (dot) com would be better.

    All the best,

    Roger
