Hey I actually just made a post like this. But there are a few more free tools I use on the web that I think people might enjoy. Hope these helps

Drop My Link - Find sites to create backlinks on - Allows you to find great relevant backlink sources fast. Just enter your keyword and the type of site your looking for.

FREE Search Engine Rankings Check in Seconds - Allows you to instantly find where your sites ranks for a keyword (I am aware this is a fairly common tool, however I manually searched for my sites when i started off. HUGE TIME WASTER! )

Domain Espionage:- This last one is a plugin for firefox that instantly allows you to find exact domain matches when you are using the keyword tool. You can literally just speed through and find EDMs in minutes without any of the digging. Great tool for anyone looking for keywords

How about SEO Book, and SEO Moz? They both have pretty usefull plugins/toolbars with loads of free functionality.

Get and use Firefox and then grab the following extensions:

1. SEOQuake

Helps for research in the Google SERP results, you can scrape data like PR, Yahoo Backlinks, indexed pages and much more.

2. SearchStatus

This allows you to have a tool bar that displays Google PR, Alexa rank, and find backlinks and much more info very easily. Saves me a lot of time and energy for research.
