Hey, can anyone point me to a good step by step guide to finding dofollow blogs related to my keyword?

I done all the proxy stuff, and have harvested what I think are wordpress blogs filtered out duplicates. Now I don't know how to filter out nofollow ones

Good guides for the beginner. You will want to learn good footprints to scrape with and then run large lists of keywords. You will definitely need some proxies for that.

You then would use a dofollow check on the linkslist you collect.

Or you could buy a dofollow list if you're feeling spendy.
  • No need to buy anything, you can easily find out the proper search strings needed with a little research. Here's one that works:

    • Pretty good advice. This should help you find captcha blogs which, in my experience, aren't all DoFollow by default. But there's a higher chance that captcha blogs are dofollow vs non-captcha blogs.

There's also a DoFollow / NoFollow addon inside of Scrapebox that will scan Wordpress blogs. It's about 70-80% accurate from my own experience. And if it finds a page that has no comments it will mark the blog as unknown. So it's a pretty good idea to harvest other posts from the blogs you're checking in case it runs into one without any comments.

I'll usually take the blogs reported as DoFollow and run a PR check on the domain. Any that are PR3 or higher I'll save and MANUALLY verify that it is actually DoFollow and actively updated. (Posts or comments within the past few weeks or so.)

I first get a big list of autoapprove blogs, I then check with dofollow or not addon.

  • ok i check as well.
  • I find Drupal and Blog Engine platforms to post dofollow comments. Most of wordpress blogs have nofollow comments. So prevent those properties.

    • use fast blog finder will find tons of drupal dofollow
  • Not all of BE is dofollow, and most BE blogs are spammed-to-death. Drupal blogs are pretty good, though.
