Be aware - adwords/adsense phishing

Today I got a phishing email purporting to be from google, saying my ads had been taken offline and I needed to click a link to verify some details. Funny, as I don't have any kind of ad account with google! I know a lot of people on here do though, and though I get phishing attempts from 'paypal' and various online banks, this is a new one on me. Just wanted to give folks a heads up to be careful

    I didn't get the one from Google, but I did get the one from PayPal several times.

    I get these types of emails almost every day. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it other than checking the links carefully before going ahead and clicking on them.
