A Quick Fix For Google Penalty?

A few of my popular pages dropped off the SERP's after the latest Panda update in October. These are really good content pages that provide plenty of benefit to the visitor.

I was thinking of renaming these pages and re-building my link strategies. I think this would be quicker than waiting for Google to re-evaluate the pages. I'll use a re-direct from the old page so the existing backlinks still function.

I'd appreciate any feedback on this idea...

I think you might be better served rewriting them altogether and putting them on a fresh domain. How old is the domain?

You may want to consider removing some of the links you have built if you can to those pages, also if you have any outbound links on your site, even link exchanges, I would remove all of them, and fix the content in the meantime.

There is no quick fix for Google's penalty, and I would suggest to review the website and analyze it if there are lacking in optimization or spam links that involve within your site, then improve the website for rankings.

As far as you have good content, I do not think that you have to touch your onsite settings, rather, it is advisable to make changes to your link building strategies and involve more in article marketing.
