    I will advise you not to go for instant approval irectories... If you got a link from a instant approval directory, google will not consider that link because the link is not being moderated by human editors.. Not all links are valuable..

      As long as the links have modified to be crawled by search engines, there's nothing wrong in doing it. Being moderated by humans or not has nothing to do with indexing and crawling. As long as the bots have an access to crawl a link, there's no issue about it.
