LOL, What is the 2012's Link Building Strategy for fresh blogs ?

They're kind of all different, but I just tried everything, and stuck to what was lifting my sites the best.

Make sure, first of all that your blogs are highly optimized for on-page seo first. The Big G is very serious about Great content & On-page seo.

Once you have those covered, Id build ultra quality backlinks to the homepage and internal pages. You can build layers of websites/properties that link to the homepage and you can mass submit to those buffer/layered sites.

Never do mass linkbuilding to the homepage or internal pages....

Unique & engaging content, don't over optimize your site on a page with a bunch of keywords instead target 3-4 keywords that best suits your niche & has decent monthly search volume.
Build your site around them & also don't forget to add few articles using long tail keywords that derives from relevant keyword.
For off page optimization if it's a new site then I would suggest you to start slowly by trying to index all your pages by doing some bookmarking for first one or two weeks.
Once you get all the pages indexed start building links slowly & try to get links from various sources such as web 2.0 profile links, high PR social bookmarks, article directory posting, web 2.0 posting, niche relevant blog commenting, forum posting, yahoo answers etc.
Also you need to vary those anchor text by targeting 40% (advised even though I am using more then 50% without seeing any problem so far) primary keyword, then distribute the rest among click here, visit there, long tail keywords, keyword+ company, naked url address etc.
