When it comes to a low competition keyword, you can do it manually by yourself. Majority of SEOs today use scrapebox for their tier links.

So if you can beat the competition without spending money. do it.

It might be all that you need for a low competition keyword but it may or may not last. Especially if you're just posting spammy links. I personally like to use scrapebox to find blogs that are related to my website and manually check them out and create a comment that gives some value to the website. This looks way more natural to google and will also make sure that you don't post links to your site from "bad" sites. With the latest panda update, google frowns upon links coming in from sites that are less than credible. Don't forget to mix up your anchor text as well.

What will happen if you have links from bad sites? Wouldn't it be easy to spam competitors websites this way? I think that this is just a myth..

It would be easy if your competition had a week old site with no other backlinks. The fact is, its not a good idea to spam any money site with scrapebox comments. This is especially true for new websites. You have to develop trust in the search engines. And 5,000 no follow wordpress blog comments is not a good start.

    Well, yeah. But:

1 - You run into a risk of getting your site slapped.

2 - You have to do it right. What's the point in 50,000 nofollow backlinks? You can use Scrapebox to build a list of DoFollow, auto approve sources.

I've ranked plenty of YouTube videos on page 1 using 1,000-10,000 DoFollow backlinks from Scrapebox blasts.

Would I touch my main sites with these? No way. Tiers? Definitely. Sites that can handle the sudden surge of backlinks and already tend to rank well? Yes.

Yes you can do it but as per risk of sites impression. In future if google panda will update some major changes, it may cause your site as well.

That's true as well. if the competition is low you don't really need a LOT of backlinks. Just a small amount of good ones from a few different sources.
