Facebook Ads - How Long

Okay so lets say you setup a campaign and you target "1 million" people using specific interests, it starts cycling through those people. We can see with one stat how many of those individuals (out of 1 million) have seen the ad...

I'm doing very well with an ad and had a kind of scary (although probably very stupid) thought that after the 1 million people see the ad how much longer will they keep showing it? Will they keep cycling over and over as long as the CTR remains at a certain level? Will they show the ad 30 times over if the ad is performing well?

Just curious how that works. My guess would be they keep showing as long as you are getting enough of a CTR

There really isn't a pattern I have figured out yet when it comes to FB ads display. However, 1 thing I can assure you is that FB is absolutely flexible when it comes to you wishing to discontinue you Ad.

Moreover, you can monitor the "frequency" parameter - which indicates the average number of times each target prospect has seen that Ad. When that number starts rising and your campaign is becoming less profitable, that's the time you take the ball and move ahead

    Hope this helps. Cheers

thx for your input - I'm more concerned about keeping it rolling then having to discontinue at this point. Getting a 500% ROI and enjoying the ride!

It seems you should be giving answers and not asking questions

I think right after your ads reach the goal facebook will automatically stop showing it.... I think they had the program to stop right after reaching goal....

well done for your good ROI. Would you like to share any tips about your facebook ad. DO you link direct to the offer, an exernal url, or a facebook page ?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I have run a few offers on facebook with no positive ROI.

    Thanks
