Getting tired of people running blog networks down etc.Who is the real culprit?

Day after day I read how people complain about sites removed form google index and then you get those that come and pitch in about bad content, badly spun articles, of topic article and the list go on.

I want to use my one site www.epropnet.info as an example. I am not really worried about the fact that it was removed from the index with 55000 indexed page.

1) I used UAW plugin to pull article to the site and the LAST time articles was posted from UAW was 2009
2) Before you come and say UAW is bad or content is bad there is a good possibility that one of your articles is on that site :rolleyes:

I don't even know if the site got removed from google index after or before the panda or the duck as I was not concerned about that site much as I was using for nameservers only

1) Please note that prior to 2009 upto 2012 GOOGLE was very happy with my site and 55000 articles. Why? they were making some $$$ from it.
2) Then one day GOOGLE woke up and say that there were some companies making some bucks by offering people other option to get traffic other than ADWORDS
3) So they then decided to SAY IT is rubbish content after for 3 years and they are still making $$$ from it
4) Why did they say that? They were loosing business from other companies such as facebook, bing etc. taking away there traffic using me as a excuse

So the culprit here is GOOGLE and not the other business offering alternative means to get traffic to your site

Mr GOOGLE why have you forgotten who made you in adwords. Small guys like us offering "crap" content pasting adsense next to "crap" content. So Mr GOOGLE you made money from OUR "crap" content

Mr GOOGLE why did you remove my website with 55000 pages from you index that you say is "crap" content yet there are millions of "CRAP" porn and other perverse stuff indexed by you search engine

Let us look at the real problem and culprit which is GOOGLE

    Google is like boss. Its a "take it or leave it attitude" from their side. Someday in future, something good happens and they go out of business. Atleast thats what I pray for

    Google is still going through some major transitions, but their stated intent is "to help searchers find sites that provide a great user experience and fulfill their information needs". Those who do will have their efforts rewarded.

      For the keyword "incest porn" there is over 11 million results and not to warn people against the perverse of it but to show bad content or is that classified good content ?

      Let's at least be honest here.

      You were not making Google money from 'your' crap content, even a 55,000 article dung heap. You were making money from providing a dumping ground for other peoples' crap content.

      Now, Google is trying to clean up the toxic waste dumps, and the people who profited from dumping toxic waste are screaming about it.

      Oh, and I guarantee you that if even one of my articles is in your dump, it's because someone else stole it...

        I have spent the last 4 years carefully crafting my blog network and during that time I have learnt a number of lessons.

        The first is that if you aren't going to take time to write awesome posts that are genuinely interesting or useful and you put affiliate/clickbank/adwords ads all over it then expect to lose these sites. I have 1 network where I blend low value content with spun articles from other sources and I honestly expect to lose all the sites time now. It's still earning but I KNOW that it's going to get slapped sometime soon.

        The second is keep a network of quality content where you have no ads, no interlinking between them and outstanding content on it. These are the sites that will stand the test of time and are perfect for pointing links at big money sites. These big money sites are the ones that will make you 10x what adwords would so it's worth investing in them.

        The third thing is that while blog networks are good and can help you make bank, don't build a business purely around them because there is a good chance that one day you will wake up and a Google update will wipe out all of your hard work.

        I always reinvest the money from the crappy network into my respectable network as I know this will last longer and has more influence.

    If you had a company and you provided crap content as you say, why would your customers stay with you? Google's content is their SERP results, and if their SERP results end up getting their customers crappy content, why would their customers keep using them. There are lots of search engines to choose from.

    You admit you provided crap content, so it is no wonder Google dropped you. What would you do in their place?

      I think you misunderstand me. I did not provide crap content, google is now saying I did as google did with 1000's of other blogs.
