Hi Warriors!

Just want to know if anyone here experienced optimizing an eCommerce website? Do you find optimizing eCommerce website more complex for SEO compare to personal website with a blog?

    I would think it should be about the same. Just optimize for your specific keywords and they of course make sure you have relevant meta data and you should be all set.

      Don't you think eCommerce website has more on-page SEO that needs to done because of the hundreds of products that contains on the website? I appreciate your response.

        Optimizing an ecommerce site for search engines can be difficult because most product descriptions are probably duplicated on other websites. Find some good keywords and write unique product descriptions that include your keywords and key phrases. Consider creating a page for each product in your online store. Post customer reviews and testimonials. Simplify your internal linking structure. Write product reviews for the most popular items on your site.

    What we can do is minimize usage of flashy stuffs, list products on the home page with description this way we have option to use text and it would be good..
