    On average, they make anywhere from 1-3 changes to the algorithm a day.

      Very well stated. Google makes so many alo changes that they don't inform us on ALL of them. They only give us information on the Major Algo changes.

    That's one of the things I don't like about google. They just change so many things in their algorithms, it just doesn't make sense. You may take so long trying to find out and catch up on their changes. I have learnt to concentrate on what's right.

    The last Google update was the exact moment I posted this comment.

    SERPs aren't static, even when Google doesn't manually push a new algo. update, the SERPs are still constantly being updated. I'm sure they have thousands of servers around the world that aren't synchronized.
