Saw Drop In My Rankings, Is It Google Or Me?

I have been doing some pretty intense and varied link building these past few weeks and have watched my site go to from page 12 to 8 to 6 to 4 very rapidly for a very competitive keyword. Last week after my site got a lot of twitter buzz it went from page 4 to six but then went back to 4 again, now it has dropped to 7. I am hoping it can come back even stronger, I also noticed a bunch of my other keywords dropped yesterday as well along with my traffic. Is this Google or is this me? Will my rankings come back? I concentrate on a varied link building strategy which includes blog comments, contexual links, press releases, directories, social bookmarks etc. I also create a lot of unique content for my blog every day as well as am active with Twitter, facebook and pintrest. What should I be concentrating on to get these rankings back?

    Most times you dont necessarily need to bother, i have experienced same issue, after some time i end up getting my ranking back, especially if you are over pointing backlinks to or from it

      Wierd.. a lot of people are seeing a loss in their keyword rankings. All my keywords jumped from nowhere to #1.

      Already seeing massive spikes in traffic.

        Same, I suspect those who have been losing rankings in the past few days didn't vary there anchor texts that well. From what people who have been contacting me sayinganyways

    Google searches are different on different computers, different countries. Basically Google see you demand according to your location.

    On my case, the frustrating part is the websites that been copying my content survived the EMD update.
