    Good one will always be a specific word, even if it is a stupid word. As words are more commonly searched on google search than something that is nonsense like erfgt.com

    Why would you ask such a question?

    Now a single character domain (not a lousy country TLD) would
    be worth quite a bit. I would think. But then nobody uses them.
    Go figure.

    I think perhaps 2 character domains are worth more than anything if
    you went by sheer numbers of characters.

    Today a bad 5 letter domain may not be worth anything. But 10 years down it will probably be worth a lot. Just like 3/4 letter domains went up in value over the last 15 years or so. Wait another 15 years and even the most ridiculous five letter domain won't be available. But if you want a short term sale (like 2-3 years or so) then it may not be that easy with a bad one.

    Anything meaningful with a .com or .net extension would be very valuable. Not so sure about .org but I'd guess they would be valuable too. With that said, I don't see how you can find such a domain unless you are willing to pay premium.

    I can tell you right now that a 5 letter domain can be worth alot, especially if it's a good domain name.

    I've seen sites on https://flippa.com/ sell for $10,000 just for being good 5 letter domain names.

    Even long domain names can sell for a lot.

    Imagine a domain like buygold.com or photography.com, etc.

    Or even.

    bygld.com or photo.com (5 letters) just as examples.
