I launched a new site tonight and the adsense ads are keying off the wrong terms for ad content. Is this temporary? It's grabbing stuff selectively from h1 tags.

I submitted the map maybe two hours ago, but even while testing the ads were contextual and now they're ridiculous.

However, they're displaying ads for high dollar CPC's.

I'll see what they're doing in the AM, but if anyone has some experience with this sort of thing I'm all ears.

You may need to target the ads if they don't resolve by morning. Go to the adsense site and look up "section targeting" (no quotes) and that will help.

    Hi Radix,

It can take a few days for AdSense to optimize your ads. Give it a little time before making changes.
