Backlinkin a particular page..and it gets de-indexed.

Hey, I was wondering. Let's say you have 50 pages, and ONE of them you decide to backlink it. You backlink it with a private network, other services etc. And then Google finds out about it so they de-indexed it. Does that mean every other page plus the main page gets de-indexed as well? Or just THAT page you backlinked it with?

It will depend on how many backlinks you create on that page. Too many bad or paid backlinks can cause the entire site to vanish from google. You need to be very careful while getting backlinks.

  To update this topic Google will not de-index you right off the bat. If you are registered with Google Webmaster tool you will get an email from them saying they have noticed an unnatural linking pattern. You can use the disavow link tool to fix it.
