Hey all,

I think we all have diff views on this subject, I want to know from the people that think its easy what they do to get indexed in a couple days.

I published 4 lenses in squidoo this past saturday night (4/18), , and still not indexed yet by Google. Any ideas on what I need to do?
I did 2 RSS Feeds, made 3 free blogs, asked Google, joined 10 squidoo fan clubs, joined clipmarks.com, submitted to Digg, and waiting on my Ezine articles to get published. All unique content - I did not copy and past my lenses and throw them out there on sites.

I have not lensrolled and have not added my links to comments in other lenses. I read these 2 things are bad and can prolong the process (suggested by PotPieGirl). I also have not published my website yet. Im trying to get that done this week.

What I do is use a wordpress blog and install some SEO plugins. When I create blog entries, it notifies blog directories and the such. Within a day or two, my page/site is already getting indexed. I've ranked #1 for a keyword in just 7 days with nearly 800,000 competition. I'd have to say it's easy. There's many other methods I can apply, but that's one of the most basic steps.

I'll give it a shot tonight. Maybe I am focusing too much on Squidoo? It was suggested I turn off the discovery feature in each lens. I turned it on today to see if that makes a difference. The Discovery feature in Squidoo is only related to the SQuidoo network and not the Internet or Google. Im building a site tonight through Host Gators Site Builder that Ive read some great info on.

I'd also say it's pretty easy. The one thing you really need is some good backlinks (don't forget to use your main keyphrase as anchor text).. oh, and give it some time. And don't be surprised if your new site gets de-indexed again after a couple of days - it'll be back.

I would say it's easy to get indexed, but hard to rank high.

You just need to place links to your lens on social bookmarking sites and other trusted sites on the web and join some of the Squidoo groups. Then, your lenses should be indexed in no time at all.
