Need SEO Expert advice

Hi Everyone,

There is a website within my industry that I am suspicous of, links dont seem to be genuine and they are on the TOP of Google. Is there anyone who would be willing to look at the websites links and tell me if they are doing something dodgey.

    You should make a better use of your time, like ranking your own site instead of checking who's legit and who's not. Sadly google wont help you here.

      Can I ask a question here instead starting a new thread? I was told that it is good for SEO ranking to put new content on a website. Is improving and updating old articles on site good too? Or it is pointless to update old content adding new images, videos or paragraphs? Thanks.

        Fresh unique content will be alot more helpful than upgrading older one.

      I wasnt checking to see if other sites were legit, I was simply running a competitor analysis on one of our top competitors and just came across it by accident. If others are cheating and getting results, why should we ignore that when we are all trying very hard to gain results naturally. I dont see its fair that they should be allowed to carry on. You can actually report sites to Google for using black hat and buying links!

        Don't take it bad, as I was serious about this. Sadly a low number of reports wont help you for sure as google simply ignore them. The whole reporting thing works in competitive niches where they get a massive users feedback.

        So move on and adapt , or stay behind your competitor and keep wasting your time.

        ps: also a friendly advice, remove your sig with your exact anchor as those links are more harmful than good for your main kw's.

    If your competitors are using black hat method, then let them use, they would be penalized when Google saw this..

    You have to produce quality works within white hat method, I would say.
