Listing product price in Adwords ad? Good idea?

Hey guys,

I came across this tip on googlelady.com today and was wondering what you all think about it?

I've been getting my feet wet with PPC driving traffic to two products but my conversion rate is super low (0-1 sales per 500 clicks, on a keyword list of about 1,000 keywords) -- I was wondering if perhaps adding the product price to the text of my ads would help...?

TIA!

Yes it will definitely help. It will send people away who can't afford the price or who does not want to pay for the product.

Always put the word "buy" or the price in the ad

It is a very good idea,I went from a 120% Yield to 170% just by putting the price in the ad.With that you will get more people that have money in the first place and get off that no money crowd.

If you have a 1:500 conversion rate you need better to change the product you are selling or maybe rewrite the review page because that is really low.Everything less than 1:100 is not even worth promoting, normally if the commission isn't really big then you have a chance with a lower conversion rate.

I did equally poorly with TWO products actually (SitStayFetch and FatLoss4Idiots). I'm sure there are successful PPC affiliates for those products...

I'm thinking maybe my keyword list was too broad??

    Thanks!

I never heard for the first product but my advice is that you leave the FL4I e-book because it converts really poor, when I was selling that e-book it was converting 1:360 for me,and also one guy on one forum opened a thread about FT4I and people were just complaining how it converts really poor,on average 1:400 for all the people that replied, just one guy as I remember said that it converts 1:80 for him.You can find better products to promote that have better conversion rates.
