A CPC Tip - How I have made a lot of money from CPC ads

When I got started in the net over 13 years ago CPC was one of my main methods for getting traffic to my sites. It still is today, although my main focus is working with our affiliates and providing proper tools to them, etc.
Back in the day, here is what I did. I suggest all of you CPC users look at your niches and consider this as a way to maximize your traffic if possible.
-Setup link trades with sites that use top list software (the more hits you send them, the higher on the list you are) that are related to your niche
-Look for sites that send OUT more traffic to the top ranked sites than incoming traffic if possible (often times you wont see the stats, you'll have to learn from testing)
-In your CPC accounts (google etc) bid on terms related to the top list site
-Instead of sending the CPC traffic direct to your site, send it to the top list that you are trading with (make sure you use your "IN link code" so the top list tracks the hit.
-Try to get to the top of the list (but don't over do it, meaning if it takes 1k hits /day to be first on the list, try to send in 1k hits, not 10k of course).
-Rinse/repeat on as many sites as you can
As we all know being #1 on a page gets you a high percentage of the hits. You'll be capturing a lot of your paid traffic anyway as long as you're first, and if you get on the good lists you'll triple or even more the amount of traffic to your site. I look at this method as cutting down my CPC cost. If I get 3x the traffic from the top list then my .10 cent bid just became a .033 cent essentially. Sure, the quality of traffic might not be up to par of your CPC traffic but keeping in mind that if you're on top you should capture most of your traffic the volume of additional traffic can pay dividends.
Some niches wont have sites like this to trade with but many do (adult especially). If you can find good lists then this method could increase your traffic and sales dramatically. Good luck!
