Local SEO Clients & Google Places

Hey guys,

I was thinking about diving more into the local seo business, ranking lawyers, dentists etc.
What is the google places about? I mean sometimes people are ranking above them sometimes google places is on first spot. Is it hard to beat it? Is the doctor/lawyer/etc now all working with the google places?

    Google Places let business owners to update their business address information so that it can be shown in Google Maps. You can also create a free business listing - Local Google+ page, that can appear on Google.com, Google Maps and Google Earth if anyone searches for your business name.

    Ranking depends upon how well you have optimized your profile.

    There are other Local search engines like Yahoo and Bing but most Popular is Google because of its wider services.

    if you want A level listings than you need a lot to do. like creating and claiming and merging places and plus. doing onpage link building. Citation submission for your clients(I also offer this service). Map submission etc.

    Nothing is impossible. its like Play and to play you need rules. If you are new just try to learn rules and soon you will play with rules . Good Luck
