make google show rating

Have a look at GD star rating plugin, im using that one on a few sites.

It will show ratings in search result.

You are referring to rich text snippets / structured data.

If you need a plugin, try this link out, it is a Rich Snippet WordPress plugin, because I am just assuming if you don't just get to edit your raw html, you are probably using WordPress LOL.

For the visitors who do have access to their raw HTML code, you have to make a custom rich text snippet. Go to schema and make one for a "product" in their "thing generators" tab, here's a link:

I found that the best one is actually the Authorship snippet, this one keeps your regular META description as the Result text, and has your Google+ profile picture on it. Also, I feel since you can just add the review number and stars yourself, this will eventually get nurfed. Once more people get on to this, there will be fake reviews on all the snippets and Google will modify it, or make it only available to certain products.

NOTE

There is a difference between a Google+ Profile, and a Google+ Page, if you have a Page, you won't be able to use the authorship rich text snippets. This is as of now though, this might be available in the future.
