GoDaddy auctions turn to 90 days at the end of the time

I am trying to buy some expired domains to build a blog network but it seems that every domain I bid on that is a GoDaddy auction, gets to the end of the auction then instead of seeing that I am the winning bidder it turns into a 90 day countdown!

This is incredibly frustrating. Who knows how the domain will be in another 90 days of being in domain parked mode? And there is nothing to forewarn you before you bid that this will happen.

Is it best to avoid GoDaddy as a source for buying domains? Do others who are building networks avoid GoDaddy for this reason?

    Go with domains in the closeout section.

    Or if you have to bid, there is a setting somewhere that will do it for you up until a certain amount (you set the limit).

    I have bought some good domains at gogaddy.
    Well, just make sure you buy a good domain on go daddy.
    Here you will find more domains of more brokers . Also you can see if possible page rank of a domain is fake.
    Expired domains

    When you buy a domain, make sure the domain has actual page rank using a page rank checker. And domain better thats it has not been dropped.
    Also put commands in google site:domain.com
    If you dont see the domain, dont buy. If you see another domain, the page rank has been past to another website.

      @Pawprints34 - I've had that happen to me a couple of times and it's very frustrating. I've started making sure I check each of the options individually to confirm exactly what kind of listing it is...

      "Offer/Counter Offer | Offer/Counter Offer with Buy Now | Buy Now Only | Auction"

      ...rather than leaving it in "View All."

      There are tonns of complains about this very thing all over the net, btw.

    I haven't face this kind of problem.

    But there is one thing which can cause this, it is renewing the domain name by its owner before auction, then the owner might have set 90 days listing mode.

    This sounds like an offer, counter offer auction. With those you may place a bid on the domain, the posting lasts for 90 days. The owner of the domain then can choose to accept your offer or not, if they do not at the end of the 90 day mark the domain may be re listed. If it is an actual auction that works a bit differently, also if they have a Buy It Now option that will allow you to secure the domain as well.
