Where do all the wallpaper websites source their wallpapers from? You see loads of them and on flippa loads of people selling wallpaper sites with thousands of wallpapers which they say are fine to have because they have legal notice saying they are from royalty free wallpaper sources etc.

I tried google but couldnt find anything

    You could repurpose public domain images.

    Instead of optimizing for public domain images optimize for phone wallpaper (example), just scale/crop the public domain images down to a popular phone screen size.

    Maybe sellers on Flippa are building their sites using some script which automates the process. Otherwise how could they sell the site so cheaply if they do it manually.
