Follow or nofollow links?

I have a new wordpress blog and i am not sure should i make links in my posts follow or nofollow? Which ones are better for increasing the rank of my blog?

    It kind of depends on your goals. If you want to pass pagerank to external websites then you should make them do-follow. One of the benefits of doing this is that you might get a return favor from the website you are linking to. If you don’t want to pass PR, for instance if you are linking to a site that isn’t likely to notice you linking to it, then you might want to make them no-follow.

    Its debatable as to what benefit it would be to your site by making links no-follow or do-follow other than what I’ve mentioned.

    Your rankings will increase with backlinks & quality content that is aimed at the keywords you're targeting.

    But, there's no harm in making outbound links nofollow regardless. Unless you're purposely trying to pass PR to a page you're linking to.

    For me there is no reason to pass a link PR value to other site so doing nofollow to outgoing links of any other site is safer idea.

    If you're linking to a reliable source like wikipedia or any top news site then you can make your links dofollow, it's not going to harm your blog. On the other you should make your links nofollow if they affiliate.
