Any cost effective recommendations on learning SEO for those just starting out. I am wanting to learn for my own purposes and promoting my sites. I have looked at several but many of them seem to come at it from the premise that you understand the basics. I need the "Fifth Grader version" because when it comes to SEO I am "Not Smarter than a Fifth Grader"

    I think if you are going to read these books, then you need make sure that they are updated enough. Many books might be written in 2006 and after that there are huge changes in SEO industry. SO better read out forums like WF or some other where you can find people talking about SEO..
