Local Listings VS Organic Listings

Hey all.
This is the first time i am posting something in here, so let me know if i do something wrong. m looking for quick response - thanks in advance.

So here is the summary

"Local listings for keywords i was working improved significantly, to be more specific i rank in the top 4 results for the keywords, as i was involved in local search engine optimization but, i don't see my rankings any where else for the same keywords in the Google SERP"

is this a problem..... if yes then do help me out with some solution.

can i be rank for the same keyword twice once in the map rankings and in the organic search results ....

    thanks for responding dev but m not asking is it good or bad m asking can i rank the ram keywords for local listings as well as web listings on the same SERP of Google say page !..

    I don't know if I got the whole picture but sounds like a backlink issue in organic and yes its possible to show up in both
