Hey Guys,

I've got a blog running in the meditation niche that is receiving around 50 visitors a day.

I wanted to increase my rankings but was wondering what types of backlinks you guys get and how you get them. Now I know that everyone says get niche relevant links with high PR and Authority and low OBL but what actual type of link? Blog comment link? Forum signature link? Guest post link?

I was looking for some helpful, specific answers please. If it is any help I've also just bought scrapebox and have been building a few forum and blog links.

You can check out my site at Meditation Techniques for Beginners if you want to look at the backlink profile. I know it is mostly blog links so that is why I wanted to diversify it.

Thanks for any help.

I think you need to get your site in order before you build any more links. The top right image is awfully blurry and just made me hit the back button right there.

After addressing the on page issues, you should skip straight to the part of SEO that talks about getting links from high PR (or moz, or ahrefs, or PA/DA - whatever form of quality control system you currently believe in) and get some of them pointing back at your site. Same niche would be good, if possible. Creating your own network is the way to go if you can manage to pick up the scraps in this day and age of high pr network piracy....ooooh-aaarrrrr

Blog commenting is good but you should also try web 2.0 sites, social media, bookmarking, forum posting, guest posting, press releases, directories etc etc

The best way is to get links flowing from all directions rather than just one source e.g blog comments as it looks more natural. B comments are not really high quality links as it's very little content. Your on the right track though. Keep it up.

I wouldn't go with "Blog comment link" or "Forum signature link" or link wheel (2000 called, and wants it's link strategy back), or article directories. To be honest, this is like a clear sign to Google that your trying to link build

We always get students that ask this question over and over again. Right now, there really nothing Google can do to a super well done blog network.

Not only is it the fastest way to rank, but your competition won't be able to get the same links. Most people only need a small 5-10 site network to blow it out of the water.

If you have any questions about it, or need some help hit me up.
