hi warriors,
i am still trying to master the adsense business model after these few months as a newbie..
i built my first few blogger sites around nov 2007 and after 1-2 months in the internet marketing game, stopped doing everything and returned to my 8 to 5 day job that "sucks".
then around late nov 2008, i started to look into IM again as i knew i need to work out something online. i have not make a lot of money since then, a few hundred dollars from clickbank occasionally and few bucks from google adsense.
basically i am doing nothing these few months as i am struck in my day job but i am gonna quitting soon and fully focused in IM to earn a living.
so i am going to work hard and stay focused to scale all this up to try to gain a consistent income for the days, months and years ahead... wish me good luck

my google adsense earnings from a few sites since 2007

nov 2007 to nov 2008 - $28.46
dec 2008 - $7.03
jan 2009 - $39.37
feb 2009 - $43.31
mar 2009 - $44.20
apr 2009 - $41.66
may 2009 - $57.40

That's a good start mate...keep adding more unique contents and test the each format in your niches. Soon, adding more websites and contents will add more profit on your adsense account. As you can see, your stats grows up month after month.

Good job! That looks like a good start. Now just do MORE of it. Build your site bigger or build more sites.

My adsense is getting better each day.. It's very hard to get people to click on them but I guess it's all down to the amount of traffic.

In fact it's very hard to get clicks, but I'm willing to wait and see how it all fairs out.

I used to love adsense was making $1200 a month on average then boom i got banned. Looking back i wish i would have used the time promoting my own products as well as clickbank and other afilliate programs. Its good side money with all the rule changes i would also have a back up plan!

      Hey captivreef,
Just curious but why did you get banned ?? Sorry if this is too personal ,but I am sure many of us here would like to know. Just because it might help us to learn what to do and what to not do to keep our Accounts in good standing

      Thanks

P.S. The good thing about building Sites with Adsense is that if you concentrate on building Traffic you can be flexible as far as eventually switchng over to just Affiliate Products /Your Own Product .

        Discrat,
I don't know why captivreef was banned, but one thing I know for sure, usinig "black hat" SEO techniques are always a risk. If you want not to get into trubles have real content, and not just some combination of keywords.

Good for you. I feels great.

I have been making monthly check frmo big G for a couple years now and I love it.

The lady at the bank keeps asking why Google sends me checks.

not sure really cause they never tell you,i attribute it to using unaltered PLR on some basic looking sites. My main adsense site was a 2200 page mortgage site that still gets great free google traffic.

Only other thing i did was article market the crap out of my sites, no black hat at all.

Did you use only PLR Content on those basic looking sites ?? Or did you mix it up with some original content ??

BTW, I am wondering if republishing material on your Blog from other people's work from a source like Ezine Articles will get you in trouble with Google ?? And thats with giving the Author credit by keeping their name and Source published also on your Blog.

Congrats on the progress, It took me almost a year to make my first $100 with adsense. I was so ready to give up. But IM is all about learning what works and what doesn't then applying over and over again (imo).

I'm making $30-$40 a day now and it has been well worth the wait. Stick with it and you'll get there.

There are so many other ways to make money online rather than working with Adsense. I like to call Adsense -> Adcents just because of the fact that it's a huge time waister. Focus on making money with affiliate marketing, promoting your own stuff, Clickbank, etc. THEN add Adsense as an additional source of income. None of the big players you read about use Adsense as their main source of income.

    Good luck bro

hehehe............. No offense but you are opening up a can of worms with this statement !!
There are many, many big time players who do actually use Adsense as their major source of income. This is a well known fact.

Joel Comm is making well over 500k a year. Marcus Frind is banking 10k a DAY !! Griz is hitting over 30k a month with his Adsense on Ugly Blogger Blogs.
I can name at least a dozen more who treat Adsense as a major source of Income.

This is all public info. and I thought most everyone knew about this.

iam just saying that there are big time Gurus who do depend on Adsense for their main Source of Income.

And yes in some ways Adsense is easier over a long period of time than Affiliate Marketing. You make your Sites, get some backlinks and let your Domain age and watch your Adsense Earnings appreciate. And then move on to your next Site.
With Affiliate Marketing you have to build a relationship with your List, incur headaches with dissatisfied customers, work on a sales page /squeeze page etc..etc..

So in some ways it is easier with Adsense. IMHO

from a guy who was doing pretty good with adsense then lost it and tried other methods i will tell you i am happier with clickbank and other ways to make money. that said adsense is a great way to learn how to drive traffic and all the other stuff that goes into promoting a site. Just do not depend on adsense alone to make you money. Diversify and expand and protect yourself!

    HI all...
I bought an Adsense site from a guy who was giving it up; biggest waste of time energy and money I ever did! It has over 800 + articles on 148 different categories, with a total of well over 1200 pages, with two columns of Adsense ads on each page. In the past 3 months Ive had over 17,000 visitors, for a total of a whooping 4c from Google.

My Google account shows all sorts of clicks and hits and things which I have no clue what any of it means, but in the money column, I've got 4c. :-(

I felt this was a pretty passive form of income, for there doesn't seem to be a way to make it more aggressive. Such as adding content or having anything to sell on the site itself. I really don't want to add Adsense to my pages where I have products to sell, as I felt it was giving my competition free advertising space that I had paid for.

Apparently I'm doing something wrong.. or rather NOT doing anything right. But right now, I'm ready to take it down and use the site for something that produces $$$$. Any one have any suggestions? Or does any one want this White Elephant?

    Thanks for your input...
