Does anyone have any experience with this tool? It promises to give you keywords that are easy to rank and build a domain around. I'm not sure if tools like this work anymore given Penguin & Panda. Are there any tools like this that are worth their salt anymore?

Google Keyword planner should be all you need.

Having a software/tool TELL you what to write and rank for is counter-productive seeing as how every person with that tool in your niche is writing for.

Instead make use of Google Keyword Planner and go deep into your targeting. Focus your efforts around BUYER keywords to attract the right consumer.

Be creative in your own right or risk getting lost in the midst of everyone else blindly following along.

    Hope that helps

Whatever you do make sure that you drill down as deep as you can to find the keywords that others aren't finding.

Then put your web properties into play and reap the rewards.

Didn't like it at all. The first thing I do when testing a tool like this that analyzes competition is to plug in a few low comp keywords that I've already ranked and proven. I put a bunch into canine and it listed most of them as super competitive. Cant do research like this. Kept using it despite this so as not to waste the trial and did find a few low comp keywords, but search volume for those were too low for my criteria (500 exact volumes).

If you can afford it then I'd go with Secockpit without a second thought. One of, if not the best KW tools on the market, but it's a bit pricey.

And why would Panda/Penguin cause a keyword tool to stop working?
