Wacky Google Adwords Estimates

Anyone noticed some strange stuff happening with Google's estimated bids lately?

Two of my adgroups are showing bid estimates that are WAY below what I need to pay

Uhm..can someone please please tell me how I get to see the friggin' max bids for ANY keyword inside Google for that matter? I'm used to Adcenter, and I must say: Google's interface is hard to understand, not transparent, and I can't even find a descent way to determine my bid strategy :S

Update: it appears that you can find a traffic estimator right under the tools bar > more tools...BUT...the stats seem to be off, because clicks this cheap on Google for a common search term? Strange..
