Backlink on blog questions

Hi

I've just started creating my own website and blog. I have zero backlinks and am learning from scratch. A few beginner questions please if you don't mind

1. If I comment on blogs (dofollow), how long before my backlink appears in a backlink search (I use backlinkwatch com?). I've posted on a few blogs but the backlinks don't show up when I search. I guess backlinks won't show until my blog post has passed moderation right?

2. Some blogs allow comments only through facebook posts. I assume these are no good for creating backlinks right?

    1. Not all back links that you build will appear in search results, some will appear and many will not. Just focus on building good links and do not use only do follow, use no follow blogs as well for link diversity so your back links would appear natural, speaking of diversity and natural back links, you will need also to build back links from other sources such as directories, social sites, forums, etc.

    2. If the blog is strong and worth it, and you will be really contributing and not only building back links, then why not!

    Just create some backlinks in authority sites/blog. All backlinks will not show in any search result or any tools. If you use Google Webmaster tools, you will not see all links there.
    It may not possible to create backlink in those blogs who use Facebook Comments app as blog comments option.
