So do you get your emails organically ? My answer to your last question is to never copy emails .Create emails that are unique but Targeted

There are mailers who just send offers to their lists and get a decent number of conversions. It depends on the size of your lists. We are in the ChatGPT's era so you may not need to duplicate email content anymore.

    Definitely a good starter list.

    I would also add...

Don't re-upload your unsubscribed lists and re-mail them
Don't use "noreply@" email addresses as your reply-to email
    Don't change your from name
Don't use really long subject lines

Just a few of the hard lessons I've had to learn in my 20yrs of marketing via email.

  • Most people open emails from othah people they know.

Fam. Friends. Work. Appointments. Cat Sex.

(Aaaawkay: jus' jokin' 'bout that las' one.)

Point is: evrywan gaht way more important stuff gowin' ahn most days othah than yr stoopid emails bcs FAM FRIENDS APPOINTMENTS CAT SEX To-Do-list-stuffs to figure more instantly than your, frankly bizarre, waste-of-time summons.

So you gotta git OPPORTUNE & sumways PERSNL -- or you instuntly CACKOED.

    Thank you.

I only open mail what i trust. Sometimes you see mail whats from unknown people or whatever what looks not real, so i skip that.

I know that there excist monetizing to open mails or doing something with hose mails. However i do nothing with that. There are better ways to monetize.

I think email marketing is too old fashioned now. most people do not even open emails because they are so busy with their own work.

How can you build an Email list without buying 1 other than doing it manually.

To answer your question I made a few big mistakes when I first started email marketing like using generic email copy swipes .

This is good especially for newbies who are just starting out.

I am adding one more point to your list:
    • Not cleaning your email list just because they were organically collected via opt-in forms.

This is a good question with lots of tips, thank you for sharing!

Here's my add-on when it comes to email marketing:

    1. Use 2-step email confirmation to increase email delivery rate and reduce spam mail.

    2. Clean your email list - Removed soft/hard bounce list, or list that has not been opening up your email for 120 days to save some cost to maintain a healthy delivery rate.

    3. Optimize your welcome email, because it's going to be one of the highest open rate compare to your 2nd and 3rd email onwards. Make your welcome email friendly, warmth and create anticipation!

    4. Get people to reply your email! Email service provider sees it as an engagement and you're more likely to land your email to their inbox instead of promotional/spam box next time when you broadcast your mailing list.

Buying lists is not a mistake. Monetizing purchased data requires resources, tools, experience, testing, and some technical knowledge. Of course, the vast majority of people don't have that, so the easiest thing to say is that buying lists is a waste of time.

I admit that sending to purchased lists is not as easy as sending to built lists. You need to get around ISPs rules, which requires real geniuses to succeed at. But that doesn't mean it doesn't work. In fact, it does.

Indeed. Personally thinking, it can be said that its harder to make the purchased lists work than built lists

He means when the text is part of the image, rather than in the body of the email.

Yes, I receive many promotional messages like this on my personal email account.

Your email can be overlooked or misunderstood if you fail to write a clear, concise subject line.

You should always use a subject line that summarizes the contents of your email so recipients can grasp its purpose at a glance.

Here are some common email mistakes to avoid to ensure your messages are professional, clear, and effective:

    ### 1. **Forgetting to Reply All (or Misusing It)**
    - **Mistake**: Leaving key recipients out of the loop or overloading irrelevant parties with unnecessary replies.
    - **Solution**: Double-check if "Reply All" is appropriate for everyone on the thread.

    ### 2. **Neglecting Proofreading**
    - **Mistake**: Sending an email with spelling errors, awkward grammar, or incorrect information.
    - **Solution**: Always review your email before hitting send. Use tools like Grammarly for a final check.

    ### 3. **Not Including a Clear Subject Line**
    - **Mistake**: Using vague or generic subject lines like "Hi" or leaving it blank.
    - **Solution**: Craft a subject line that summarizes the purpose of the email clearly and succinctly.

    ### 4. **Skipping Greetings and Closings**
    - **Mistake**: Jumping straight into the message without an opening or closing can feel abrupt or impolite.
    - **Solution**: Begin with a polite greeting and end with a professional sign-off.

    ### 5. **Failing to Follow Up**
    - **Mistake**: Forgetting to respond to an email or failing to follow up when you've promised.
    - **Solution**: Use reminders or email tools to track responses and follow up as necessary.

    ### 6. **Overusing CC or BCC**
    - **Mistake**: Adding too many people in CC without reason or using BCC inappropriately.
    - **Solution**: Include only those who genuinely need to be informed.

    ### 7. **Writing Long, Unfocused Messages**
    - **Mistake**: Sending emails that are too lengthy or unclear.
    - **Solution**: Be concise and structure your email with clear sections or bullet points.

    ### 8. **Attaching the Wrong File (or Forgetting It)**
    - **Mistake**: Mentioning an attachment but failing to include it or attaching the wrong one.
    - **Solution**: Double-check attachments before sending.

    ### 9. **Using an Unprofessional Tone**
    - **Mistake**: Coming across as too casual or rude, especially in professional settings.
    - **Solution**: Maintain a respectful, formal tone when necessary.

    ### 10. **Sending Emails with Sensitive Information**
    - **Mistake**: Sharing confidential or sensitive data over email without proper encryption.
    - **Solution**: Use secure methods for sharing sensitive information or ensure it's encrypted.

    ### 11. **Sending Without a Double-Check**
    - **Mistake**: Accidentally sending the email prematurely or to the wrong person.
    - **Solution**: Always verify recipients and review the email thoroughly before sending.
