A Share is better than a Like
Let's say that you have a pretty much solid fanpage on FB, and you want to increase the number of likers. Here is one way to do that: By holding a contest of some sort (ex. photo caption, why I want to win this..., tagging friends, photo submissions, facebook like votes, etc.)
That way, you get the traffic/followers your page well deserves.
